Hey there, I’m Dan! Otherwise known as AviatorDan. Today you can for some questions at me!
Firstly, thank you Kyle for having me on here today.
Let me tell you some bits about me. I don’t like aviation… (joking). My love for aviation started so far back that I can’t even remember when. I must’ve just flown on a plane as a kid and thought that it’s cool.
Moving on. Over the years I’d stumbled across a few mobile flight sims until I come across the one and only Infinite Flight. Time progressed and it was safe to say I had some form of addiction to it! I then began to create Infinite Flight content on Instagram and then I started making a few YouTube bits on it too.
On that note, that brings us here to this very day. I now thrive to entertain everyone around me by creating content on numerous social media platforms.
YouTube
Twitch
Instagram
Twitter
TikTok
I’m going to cut this introduction quite short really as I don’t want to spill too many beans. I want the questions to come from you guys!
As we wrap up, I’d like to again thank Dan for accepting the invite to answer our questions here. Really enjoyed this one! We wish you Dan great success with all the projects you have going on in the future!
Hey Dan!
First off, just wondering have you ever been to America? If so where? If not would you like to visit one day?
How do your friends react hearing that you play IF?
And Of course, when did you get grade 5, and what made you start playing IF?
Sorry for the many questions
Thanks,

Hey Dan,
Who inspired you to start streaming with OBS and YouTube?
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. I never really had an inspiration if I’m being completely honest. I always had the idea to do streaming but I never acted on it up until recently!
Hello Dan,
I got one question. What inspired you to become a youtuber? Thanks and have a great day!
Hey,
What inspired me the most is having the opportunity to entertain loads of people and really get myself out there. I’ve also always really liked the technical side of things and what goes on behind the scenes… such as editing etc. Boredom was also a huge factor when starting up a channel haha.
Take care!
Hi Dan, 1. Do you always have a topic in mind before you begin your live stream or do you take your inspiration from the audience’s questions and comments? 2. Do you set a time limit for your live streams and videos?
Thanks for your time today!
Hey there!
With regards to you first question, it’s really a mix of both. Sometimes I could come up with an idea and then build onto the idea with the input of others or somebody could simply suggest something and I could pick up on the idea. In short, yes I always have a plan in mind.
To answer your second question, no, not really. Obviously full flight streams have an estimated duration but some mess around streams can go on for however long really. With regards to video duration it all depends on the content going into one particular video. Ideally I would aim for 8 mins, however, that’s not always the case as for some videos I have very little information to work with!
Thanks for the question!!
Take care
Them question marks were supposed to be an emoji, lol.
Bug, no idea why it does that. haha
Hello Dan and thank you for coming to answer our questions!
Congratulations on getting the opportunity to host Infinite Flight’s Twitch streams! Hard work pays off, well deserved and we are very happy for you.
Two questions. One, if you had one piece of advice you could have given yourself when you were starting your YouTube channel, what would it be? Two, why do you think your channel took off?
Hi Kyle, you’re very welcome. Thank you for the opportunity and thanks very much about the IF streams!! Hard work does certainly pay off and I’m super happy.
very interesting questions I must say…
Thanks Kyle, Take care.
That is awesome that you were able to put yourself out there, good on you! And I would say that your editing is very polished. Thanks!
Hey Dan!
Do you do streaming full time? Or do you have other hobbies when your not streaming?
Thanks!
Hey there thanks for the question.
I try to stream as and when I can in my free time alongside editing videos. I do it for fun. Hobby wise, well, this is one of my main hobbies! Ideally (when covid restrictions wasn’t as bad) I would spend a lot of time away from the computer and with my friends driving around in our cars, mostly to LHR tehe.
G’day Dan! I was just curious as to know how much behind the scenes pre goes into your videos and streams! Love your work. Keep it up!
Hey Adam thanks for the question!
long story short A LOT of work goes on behind the scenes and it can be quite stressful. Streams are a lot easier for sure as the story tells itself whilst live. But, videos on the other hand can be a nightmare!
Take care!
Hey Dan, I was always wondering the reason on why and how you started streaming daily?
Hey Aviator’s Hub!
Good question… For me streaming is a lot easier and is far more engaging for my audience. It’s a lot more stress free (although things can go wrong live). So to answer your question on why I started streaming, it’s great fun basically 🙂
To answer your question on how I started streaming daily (maybe every other day), I just make sure I’m committed and ready to work. I plan my days ahead of time and try my best to adhere to them!
Take care
