This is a great lesson or reminder to always pay attention when taxiing. Don’t check that notification, tell your girlfriend to call you back later, let your pet outside, etc.

Have the map open or mini map, and pay attention so you don’t end up inside another aircraft. Anticipate potential issues. If you need to stop, tell the controller standby and stop but don’t block traffic. A stop should only be at max like 10 seconds if it’s urgent. If you need even more time then that to do something, exit the flight and start over.
