A must watch new tutorial
came out yesterday, watch it here.

VOR navigation is one of if not the most satisfying things to master as a pilot. VOR stands for VHF Omnidirectional Radio Range. It’s much older then GPS navigation, but it has been a reliable and common source of navigation information since the 1960s. It’s incredibly interesting.

This tutorial should give you a good head start on getting a basic understanding of how to navigate using VORs, give it a try. We will come out with a course soon to help you gain an even greater understanding with some in-flight challenges.
