The normalization of reports

February, 28, 2020 by

If you follow the Infinite Flight forum closely you’ll notice that there is occasionally a few topics posted about being reported, or maybe you have friends who talk about their report stories.

Getting reported (ghosted) is not a normal thing to happen to someone. It happens to some but it’s not something that’s normal.

It may seem that it’s normal because you hear all the stories and may think it’s a regular occurrence for most. It’s not. I personally have never been reported.

If I was ever reported though I wouldn’t stop until I figured out what went wrong. I’d track down the controller and find out why. Expert server controllers are all available to talk to, you can find a directory of them here. Ask questions, learn from the mistake and improve.

The answer you get from the controller as to why you were ghosted will most likely be something you would not suspect, had you not asked.
