Utilizing replay to learn from past mistakes

August, 21, 2021 by

A good habit to get yourself in is to check your replay file for flaws in your controlling.

“Maybe I missed a command? Oh, I had an opening, I could have fit that aircraft in. Wow, I really handled that go around well.”

There’s many things that you see while controlling and remember, but watching it over again really hammers the point home. Next time you open, watch your replay. Pick out specific moments and try to learn and improve upon what you see.
