You can change your ATC voice

Infinite Flight uses the text-to-speech from devices’ operating system for the ATC and pilot voices and you may not know that you are able to download more voices yourself.

If your on iOS:

  1. Settings
  2. Accessibility
  3. Spoken Content
  4. Voices
  5. From here you can download a wide variety of unique voices

For Android, the process may vary:

  1. Download Google Text-To-Speech
  2. Go into your system settings and find the accessibility settings page
  3. Select Text To Speech Output
  4. Install voice data
  5. Choose the voices you’d like to download

Once you have that all done:

  1. Go in to Infinite Flight
  2. Settings
  3. Live
  4. Change the “Pilot Voice” and the “Default Voice”

The other pilot and controller’s voices won’t be randomized for variety. That’s the voice the other users have chose to be their voice. So if I choose “Tom en-US” everyone else will hear me as that voice. So if the pilots don’t choose unique voices themselves then there will not be a variety of different voice types.

Some most likely don’t know you can download the other non-default voices and if they are using a different operating system (Android vs iOS), then it may revert to the default voice you chose because not all voices are available on both operating systems.
